Disney+ launched its service on Nov. 12 in Korea. The streaming platform has already garnered some 310,000 subscribers last month.
Industry data shows card payments in November amounted to W17.2 billion (US$1=W1,178).
It was most popular among those in their 30s, who account for 41 percent of subscribers, followed by the 20s and 40s age group. More than half of the subscribers signed up for a one-year basic membership costing W99,000.
Some 32 percent of Disney subscribers also use Netflix, which has some 5 million subscribers in the nation.
