A man found dead on Hwy. 1 near Sintaluta on Friday has been identified as a 41-year-old from Manitoba.

Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release the man’s body was found in the eastbound passing lane of Hwy 1, about 3 km west of Sintaluta on May 6 around 6:30 a.m.
Police said the pedestrian, whose family is being notified by Indian Head RCMP, was hit by a vehicle during the evening of May 5, and was wearing dark clothing, including a red hoodie, and had a blue backpack.
Anyone who may have seen the man between 8 p.m. on Thursday and 6 a.m. on Friday is asked to call Indian Head RCMP at 306-695-5200.
