Hyundai has released a new version of its flagship Grandeur large sedan with improved safety and convenience features. Grandeur is one of the best-selling cars in the domestic market.
The automaker said on Wednesday that the upgraded version is priced at between W33.92 million and W42.31 million depending on the trim, up W880,000 to W1.72 million from its predecessor (US$1=W1,274).
The price rise means consumers now have to pay W38 million to W40 million for a trim with options they want, compared to W33 million to W35 million for the predecessor with the same trim.
And the Grandeur will be getting even more expensive since Hyundai is planning to release a completely revamped version next year.
